Tea Time Ministries is a Bible Teaching ministry for brothers and sisters who are able to attend morning classes. Classes include but are not limited to New Convert; Evangelical Training Association studies, and More to Life studies for women.
During the summer months, we will begin the Summer Bible Study courses prepared by Sis. Brooks. This study will begin in the month of July until the end of September, unless otherwise stated.
Students will be required to purchase course materials ($3.00 - $20.00 per course); bring Bibles, dictionaries, concordance, note books, pen/pencil and the desire for learning. Length of classes are 1 - 1 1/2 hours.
Contact Sis. Brooks for details.
When able to travel, Sis. Brooks conduct Bible Classes for those who desire to have home visits.
Under Tea Time Ministries, there is a sewing/craft circle all interested persons can join. We try to meet twice a month for sewing for fun and charity; learning how to knit or crochet simple projects; and learn basic cross stitch. Please bring your own sewing supplies and tools, sewing machines and crafting supplies.
Dental supplies can be donated here and are shipped to Healing Ministries, Del Rio, Texas for Mexican Orphanages. Donors may deduct contributions.
This quilt was made for a special woman of God. It was made to comfort her during her time of illness. I like to call this one of my "Prayer Quilts", made just for you to snuggle in and know that prayer was and is offered to God for you.
Sister Mary Cruz showing off her creations. Many of the women who come here, just come for the enjoyment and friendship. This was another great day for sewing.
This special "Boy Quilt" was made for one of my nephews. One down, several more to go.
This cross stitch was sewn by Sis. Brooks. I learned this while recovering from an illness.
Tea Time Ministries sponsors "Ladies' Tea Fellowships". We were fortunate to have Sis. Trexel Floyd, long time Bremerton Resident, now living in North Carolina visiting us at our Tea Fellowship. Our speaker for this event was Sis. Lucy Tuggle, Co-Owner of Aroma Tea & Herb Shop in Silverdale, WA.
Sis. Tuggle taught us about teas from around the world.
Here are a few samples of Teas available at the Aroma shop. The Jars of Kombucha Tea was displayed by Sis. Diane Sloan who received her "Mother Scoby" from Sis. Cherie King. We hope to have Sis. King come and talk to us about "Raw Diet" and Kombucha Tea.
